Evangeline Di Michele

Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal massage (also known as antenatal massage) relaxes tense muscles, eases sore spots, improves circulation and mobility, reduces swelling in the legs and arms (due to normal excess fluid retention) and will help you to feel generally relaxed, calm and well.

The application of natural oils will help your skin become more supple which helps to prevent stretch marks and dryness.

Massage should only be given to pregnant women after the first trimester (0-12 weeks) and with the approval of your mid-wife.  She will be able to advise you if there are any reasons why massage may not be appropriate.

Evangeline works specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. She is trained in prenatal massage and adjusts her techniques accordingly.

She will introduce you to relaxation and breathing techniques to help promote peaceful, restful sleep and an increased sense of well-being during your pregnancy.

“I cannot thank you enough for all the massages through my pregnancy. It was incredibly generous of you and made such a difference to my overall physical and mental wellbeing during pregnancy, labour and birth.

“There is no doubt in my mind that Tulamassage and the energy and connection that was created through it contributed to a positive birth and a very laid back and chilled out baby.”
